Robinhood will host a fireside chat on June 30 at 7:45 p.m. CEST in Cannes with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Robinhood Crypto GM Johann Kerbrat, and Offchain Labs CSO AJ Warner, per Robinhood's official X account. The session streams live on Robinhood's X and YouTube channels. ARB rose 17.1% on the day, from roughly $0.31 to an intraday high of $0.386 before retracing to $0.328, per Yahoo Finance.

The event is the clearest public signal yet of Robinhood's commitment to Robinhood Chain, the company's Arbitrum-based Layer 2. No mainnet launch date has been announced.

What Robinhood Chain is

Robinhood Chain is a financial-grade Ethereum Layer 2 built on the Arbitrum stack, designed to support real-world assets and on-chain financial services through tokenization, per the Robinhood newsroom. The platform targets developers building tokenized-asset applications, including lending platforms, perpetual futures exchanges, and similar services.

Alchemy, Allium, Chainlink, LayerZero, and TRM are among the infrastructure partners integrating on testnet. The Arbitrum blog lists test versions of Stock Tokens including Tesla, Amazon, and Palantir as available on testnet. The public testnet launched February 10, 2026.

Robinhood committed $1 million to the 2026 Arbitrum Open House program to fund builders across four global online Buildathons and two in-person Founder Houses.

ARB price moved faster than Arbitrum usage

Arbitrum DEX volume came in at $76.7 million on the day, down from $230.5 million the prior session, per DefiLlama. Total value locked on Arbitrum stood at $1.21 billion over the same window, per DefiLlama.

ARB remains roughly 86% below its all-time high of $2.40, reached in January 2024, per CoinMarketCap.
